Nous vous souhaitons Ramadan Moubarak et invoquons Allah pour que ce mois béni soit pour nous tous un mois de sécurité, de foi, de salut, d’Islam et de réussite dans tout ce que Allah notre seigneur aime et agrée.
Comme à chaque Ramadan, nous lançons notre compagne de financement annuelle qui définit nos besoins comme organisme afin de gérer les affaires de la communauté et d’entamer les projets retenus pour répondre aux besoins multiples et variés d’une communauté qui ne cesse d’augmenter.
L’année dernière, nous vous avions sollicité pour un objectif annuel de 700 000,00 $ (Sept cent mille dollars) incluant un objectif du mois de Ramadan de 350 000,00 $ (trois cent cinquante mille dollars). Lequel objectif a été largement atteint par la grâce d’Allah et à l’aide de votre grande générosité. Qu’Allah subhaneh accepte vos dons et qu’il vous couvre de ses bienfaits, de sa miséricorde et de ses récompenses.
Cette année, nous vous sollicitons encore pour un objectif plus ambitieux qui traduit l’évolution du CIO, des besoins de la communauté et l’avancement des projets programmés pour les prochaines années :
- Acquisition et développement du terrain adjacent à la mosquée ;
- Acquisition du 14 rue Lois et plus ;

Agrandissements et réparations au niveau de la mosquée de Gatineau (04 rue Lois)
- Agrandissement de la mezzanine pour élargir la capacité de la salle des femmes ;
- Réparation au niveau des toilettes de la salle principale ;
- Installation des étagères pour les chaussures ;
- Installation d’un nouveau système de caméras de sécurité.

Agrandissements et réparations au niveau de la mosquée Mariam (355 Notre Dame)
- Ouverture d’une porte de secours au sous-sol pour pouvoir profiter de sa superficie de manière optimale ;
- Ouverture d’une nouvelle porte d’entrée à la mosquée ;
- Réparations au niveau des toilettes des hommes ;
- Réparations au niveau des toilettes de femmes ;
Certains de ces projets sont déjà entamés, d’autres le seront au cours des mois qui suivent selon la règle de priorité. Ils s’échelonneront sur plusieurs années en fonction de leur ampleur et des capacités financières du CIO. Tous ces projets seront présentés en détails tout au long du mois de Ramadan.
Chères sœurs, chers frères
La viabilité du CIO et la réalisation de ces projets dépendent principalement de la volonté d’Allah subhaneh, mais ont comme condition primordiale l’engagement de l’ensemble de la communauté. Chacun d’entre nous a le devoir de contribuer pour réussir cette compagne de financement. Chaque dollar compte !
Rappelons-nous tous les versets du Saint Quran suivants :
مَثَلُ الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنْبَتَتْ سَبْعَ سَنَابِلَ فِي كُلِّ سُنْبُلَةٍ مِائَةُ حَبَّةٍ وَاللَّهُ يُضَاعِفُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ [سورة البقرة:261].
« L'exemple de ceux qui dépensent leur argent dans la voie de Allah est comme une graine qui germe en sept épis. Sur chaque épis (il y a) une centaine de grains ; et Allah multiplie pour quiconque Il veut. Allah est Généreux et Savant »

Assalamo Alaikoum dear members of the community
We wish you Ramadan Mubarak and invoke Allah that this blessed month may be for us all a month of security, faith, salvation, Islam and success in all that Allah our Lord loves and approves.
As we do every Ramadan, we launch our annual fundraising campaign, which defines our needs as an organization to manage the affairs of the community and initiate the projects selected to meet the many and varied needs of an ever-growing community.
Last year, we asked for an annual goal of $700,000.00 (seven hundred thousand dollars), including a Ramadan goal of $350,000.00 (three hundred and fifty thousand dollars). This goal was largely reached by the grace of Allah and with the help of your great generosity. May Allah subhaneh accept your donations and shower you with his blessings, mercy, and rewards.
This year, we're asking you again for a more ambitious goal that reflects the evolution of the OIC, the needs of the community, and the progress of the projects scheduled for the coming years:
- Acquisition and development of the land behind the mosque;
- Acquisition of 14 rue Lois and more;

Expansions and repairs at the Gatineau mosque (04 rue Lois)
- Expansion of the mezzanine to increase the capacity of the women's room;
- Repairs to the washroom in the women's room.

- Installation of shoe racks;
- Installation of a new security camera system.

- Opening of an emergency door in the basement to take full advantage of its surface area;
- Opening of a new entrance door to the mosque;
- Repairs to the men's toilets;
- Repairs to the women's toilets;
Some of these projects are already underway, while others will be undertaken over the coming months on a priority basis. They will be spread over several years, depending on their scale and the OIC's financial capabilities. All these projects will be presented in detail throughout the month of Ramadan.
Dear sisters and brothers
The operation of the OIC and the realization of these projects depend primarily on the will of Allah subhaneh, but have as a primary condition the commitment of the entire community. Each and every one of us has a duty to contribute to the success of this fundraising campaign. Every dollar counts!
Let's all remember the following verses from the Holy Quran:
مَثَلُ الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنْبَتَتْ سَبْعَ سَنَابِلَ فِي كُلِّ سُنْبُلَةٍ مِائَةُ حَبَّةٍ وَاللَّهُ يُضَاعِفُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ [سورة البقرة:261].
“The example of those who spend their money in the way of Allah is like a seed that sprouts into seven ears. On each ear (there are) a hundred grains; and Allah multiplies for whomever He wills. Allah is Generous and Knowing”
