Conformément aux efforts du Conseil pour se concentrer sur les objectifs supérieurs de la Chari’āh, le Conseil avait décidé de célébrer Aïd al-Adha après le jour de ‘Arafat. Par conséquent, le 1er Dhoul-Hjjah correspondra au dimanche 11 Juillet 2021 et Aïd al-Adha coïncidera donc au mardi 20 Juillet 2021, si Dieu le veut (In Sha’ā Allah). Le Conseil des Imams encourage vivement, les membres de la communauté, à observer le jeûne le jour de ‘Arafah, qui aura lieu le lundi 19 Juillet, 2021, si Dieu le veut.

In consistent with the Council’s endeavours to focus on the higher objectives of the Shari’āh, the Council has resolved to celebrate Eid al-Adha following the day of ‘Arafah. Therefore, the 1st of Dhul Hijjah will be on Sunday, July 11, 2021, and Eid al-Adha will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, In Sha’ā Allah. The Council of Imams of Ottawa/Gatineau encourages community members to benefit from the best ten days of the year and observe fasting on the Day of ‘Arafah which will be on Monday, July 19, 2021, In Sha’ā Allah.
