Louanges à Dieu le Tout-Puissant. Que la paix et la bénédiction soient sur le Messager de Dieu, sa famille, ses fidèles compagnons et tous ceux qui les suivent.
Selon le critère global d’observation lunaire, le Conseil des Imams d’Ottawa-Gatineau confirme par la présente que des rapports d’observation crédibles ont été reçus dans la soirée du jeudi 29 Ramadan (20-04-2023). Par conséquent, le premier Shawwal aura lieu le 21 avril 2023 et nous célébrerons Aïd al-Fitr demain, vendredi, In Sha’ā Allah.

En ce jour spécial, le Conseil souhaite à tous les musulmans et à tous les Canadiens de l’ensemble du pays un joyeux et heureux Aïd et vous présente ses meilleurs vœux de prospérité et de santé, dans l’amour, la paix et l’harmonie. Encourageons-nous les uns les autres à gagner l’agrément de Dieu, Exalté soit-Il, par des actes de piété, de droiture et de service à l’humanité.

All praise is for Allah Almighty. May the peace and blessing be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, the faithful companions, and all those who follow them.

Following the global moon sighting criterion, the Council of Imams of Ottawa-Gatineau hereby confirms that credible sighting reports have been received on the evening of Thursday, 29th Ramadan (2023-04-20). Accordingly, the first of Shaw-waal will be on April 21, 2023 and we will celebrate Eidul-Fitr tomorrow on Friday In Sha’ā Allah.

On this very special day, the Council is hereby extending a very happy and blissful Eid greetings to all Muslims and Canadians across the country, and wishing you all a prosperous and healthy future, the one filled with love, peace and harmony. Let us encourage one another in earning the pleasure of Allah (SWT) through the acts of piety, righteousness, and service to humanity.
